Blume appoints Fauzia Stanyard as new Chief Operating Officer

South Manchester-based Blume has appointed Fauzia Stanyard as new Chief Operating Officer, as it continues to build on recent growth and investment across the business.

Fauzia joins Blume with more than 20 years’ experience in operational, customer and commercial leadership roles across a range of regulated and customer-focused industries, previously holding senior leadership positions at organisations including Three UK, Currys and Arqiva, where she led operational teams, customer experience functions and business transformation programmes.

In her new role, Fauzia will report to CEO, Alex Kenny, and oversee operational delivery, customer experience and B2C strategy across the business. She will also join Blume’s Executive Committee alongside Adam Fletcher, Chief Customer Officer, Joseph Morgan, Finance Director, and Jemma Brereton, Change and Transformation Director.

Alex Kenny said: “Fauzia brings a huge amount of operational experience and has a strong track record of building and leading high-performing teams.

“At Blume, getting our operations right is incredibly important because the decisions we make can have a direct impact on someone’s future, their access to justice and their ability to rebuild their lives after injury. Having someone with Fauzia’s experience oversee this area of the business is going to make a real difference, both for Blume and for the people we support every day and we’re delighted to welcome her to the team.”

Speaking about her appointment, Fauzia Stanyard said: “I’m excited to be joining Blume at such an important stage in its growth. There is a clear ambition across the business, alongside a strong focus on people, customer experience and delivering high-quality outcomes.

“I’m looking forward to working with teams across the group to support the next phase of growth and continue building on the strong foundations already in place.”
