A month of growth – celebrating development with our latest internal progressions
This past month we’ve experienced a huge period of growth to our teams and are proud to congratulate (left to right) Nathan Philips, Ellis Stubbings, Grace Zibaka, Michael Antwi, Rachel Pantegi and Sam McCreary (not pictured) who have ALL progressed from the contact centre into their new roles as Subject Matter Expert, Team Leader, Team Leader, IT Service Technician, Recruitment Business Partner and Assistant Team Leader respectively.
As our business continues to grow, so too do the opportunities we can offer our people.
That’s why, when a role becomes available in one of our departments, we prioritise looking at our employees internally to see who we can support in taking the next step in advancing their career.
By identifying our staff’s pre-existing skills and offering support where needed, as they’re learning, we can make sure we work closely together to reach a position that’s right for our employees as well as our business.
But it’s not just our knowledge of our staff’s skillset, they know a lot about us too. In addition to evidencing a desire to upskill and progress, all employees who have stepped into new positions this month have a strong, pre-existing knowledge of our business model, which would take new external employee’s weeks of training to achieve.
Michael joined the business as a Customer Care Expert in June 2022 and has recently begun his new position as IT Service Desk Technician where he will be ready to assist with a wide range of IT support across Blume, ranging from core daily tasks to improving our wider infrastructure under the guidance of Manager Rich Pardoe.
This is the third progression for Rachel, previously beginning as Team Leader in August last year and progressing to Senior Team Leader in March of this year. Her new role as Internal Recruiter will see her oversee hiring and onboarding clients across the Blume group as part of the People team.
Ellis Began with Blume in February last year and has progressed up through Assistant Team Leader to his new position as Team Leader after showing strong relationships with his team and an excellent knowledge of the business.
Grace joined us in March 2022 and has progressed twice from Customer Care Expert, to Assistant Team Leader and now to Team Leader!
Sam has been with Blume since January 2021, he boosted his hours earlier this year and used his years of experience to secure his new role as Assistant Team Leader.
Nathan will become the subject matter expert of all claim types so that he can help drive a better performance through rescuing lost cases and understanding performance, his role will be pivotal in helping to improve vetting, finding new opportunities, and bringing all departments even closer together. This is Nathan’s second progression, after joining Blume in January 2021 and previously stepping up from a Customer Care Expert to an Assistant Team Leader.
